In this vibrant Church of England parish in Seasalter, Kent, we run a weekly toddler group (Little Salties), a term-time group for children with additional needs and their families (All-In), and Sunday children's groups - all led by a dedicated team of volunteers. We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm-hearted Children and Families Worker to bring oversight, support the teams and to help these activities flourish and grow.
You will coordinate our children's and families work (ages birth to Year 6), and be a visible, welcoming presence both inside the church and out in the community. You will build relationships with parents and carers, connect with local schools and community groups, and use social media to communicate and invite. You will help plan seasonal events and all-age services, working closely with church members, leadership and the Youth Minister. Safeguarding, good record-keeping, and regular liaison with the Team Vicar are central to the role.
